In 2005, GITEX welcomed over 1,163 exhibitors, representing over 2,724 companies from 61 countries. This trunout topped that of the past year by 48%. The record-breaking show covered over 30,227 sqm, 10% more than GiTEX 2004.

GTEX 2006 looks set to supass these figures as the IT market strengthens and IT spending in the Middle East & North Afica region is predicted to continue to rise.
